During our family vacation at Newby Bridge, we found the atmosphere to be welcoming yet relaxed. The hotel staff, from the desk to the breakfast bar, were friendly and genuinely helpful, creating an inclusive environment for all guests, including our furry family members. The children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, which often felt like a private retreat as we indulged ourselves there. Breakfast offered a delightful selection, including fresh fruit, yogurt, and a satisfying cooked option. Although the dining menu could use refinement, my lamb dish was enjoyable, while my husband's risotto had its merits. The leisure club is a bit of a trek from the main reception, requiring some effort, but it added an adventurous touch to our stay. Lastly, while the rooms were clean, they felt smaller compared to the photos online, which led to some discomfort. Newby Bridge provides a commendable family getaway, balancing affordability with essential amenities.
